What we take, how a pickup works and where we operate.
What types of waste do you collect?
We collect textile and garment waste, plastic, paper and cardboard, biomass and organic waste, e-waste, and mixed waste that needs sorting. Pick the stream that best describes your load when you book, and mention anything else in the notes.
How does the pickup work?
Book on our website in a few steps: share your details and pickup address, choose the waste type and an approximate quantity, then pick a date and a preferred slot. You get a booking ID straight away, and our team confirms the slot on WhatsApp or by call.
Which areas do you serve?
Our pickup routes currently cover Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. If you are just outside these cities, get in touch and we will let you know whether we can reach you.
Do I need to weigh the waste myself?
No. An approximate quantity is enough when booking, because we weigh the material on site during collection.
Do you offer facility tours?
Not yet. The facility is still being set up and the machinery is being installed. Once operations begin we will open it up for visits and tours.

Are you operational right now?
Yes. Our waste pickup service is live and you can book a collection today. Our processing facility is still being set up: the machinery has been ordered and installation is underway, so plant operations have not started yet.
What is Zero Waste Gujarat's mission?
Our mission is simple: make it easy for homes, shops and businesses to send their waste for recycling instead of landfill. We collect waste from your door, and we are building our own facility to turn that material into new products.
Where is Zero Waste Gujarat located?
We serve Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar from our base in Ahmedabad's industrial area, Gujarat. Staying local keeps pickup routes short, which is what lets us offer quick slots across the city.
Who founded Zero Waste Gujarat?
Zero Waste Gujarat was founded by Ravi Dhamecha, who brings more than 12 years of operations management experience across textile manufacturing, retail and rural development.
What are your expansion plans?
Once the facility is commissioned we will begin converting collected waste into recycled fiber, nonwovens and eco-friendly packaging. From there we plan to widen pickup coverage across Gujarat and add more waste streams.
